How do I sign up my child?

Register below for "CB Wrestling grades K-8th" or visit front desk at the recreation center located at 1121 N Lake Park Blvd,  Carolina Beach.  To receive a discount for multiple siblings you must go to recreation center.

What equipment is required?

To start:  grip socks, a tight t-shirt, shorts and water bottle.  Head gear and wrestling shoes recommended.

How many sessions are available per week?

Sundays 1:00-2:30 pm and Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 pm. Depending on the amount of wrestlers we may add an extra session for wrestlers with more experience.

Where in the recreation center are practices held?

Winter practices are on the second floor of the Carolina Beach Recreation Center, 1121 N Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach.  All other practices are in the main gym of the rec center.

How often are mats cleaned?

Before each practice.

What app is used to communicate with parents?

SportsYou app; after signing up you will receive a club code to join.

Is there a travel team?

Yes, a travel team is available for beginner to advanced levels.  If parents so choose the club participates in many NCWAY wrestling tournaments throughout the year and we host a Fall and Spring tournament of our own.  Tournaments are held at local clubs and/or within a 2 hour radius.  

Is CB Wrestling Club for-profit club?

CB Wrestling Club is partners with Pleasure Island Athletes, a nonprofit 501-3C organization.  Our goal is to keep the membership cost as low as possible in order to provide everyone an opportunity to participate.
